Il Casale del Vino risale all'anno 1500.  Apparteneva al feudo vescovile ove nelle vicinanze avvenivano le investiture disposte dal vescovo di Vicenza. Terra di Longobardi e conquiste che lasciarono il dominio alla chiesa romana. La struttura faceva parte del castro oggi divenuto il centrum del paese di Barbarano. La leggenda racconta che in questa struttura  venne ospitato il Vescovo Bartolomeo dal conte Benvenuto

ENGLISH LANGUAGE
The house of the wine dates back to the year
1500. It belonged to the bishop's fiefdom 
where the investitures arranged by the bishop
 of Vicenza took place nearby. Land of the 
Lombards and conquests that left the dominion
 to the Roman church. The structure was part
 of the castro which has now become the 
center of the town of Barbarano. Legend has 
it that Bishop Bartolomeo was hosted in this 
structure by Count Benvenuto
DEUTSCHE SPRACHE 
Die Casa del Vino stammt aus dem Jahr 1500. 
Sie gehörte zum bischöflichen Lehen, in 
dessen Nähe die vom Bischof von Vicenza 
angeordneten Investituren stattfanden. Land 
der Langobarden und Eroberungen, die die 
Herrschaft der römischen Kirche überließen. 
Das Bauwerk war Teil des Castro, das heute 
zum Zentrum der Stadt Barbarano geworden ist.
 Der Legende nach wurde Bischof Bartolomeo in
 diesem Gebäude von Graf Benvenuto beherbergt
